What is your typical planning process?
Our goal is to get complete information about what you need from your photo or video project so that the shoot goes to plan and we deliver the product you need. When you contact us, we welcome your questions. We also encourage you to describe not only what you need, but when and where. We are committed to being Responsive and Reliable.
We think it’s great when clients give us a one week notice or more prior to a shoot, but can usually accommodate a quick turnaround request.
How much do you charge?
We price your project individually and will deliver the work at the price we quote and agree upon. Contact us for an estimate.
Do you edit your photos and videos?
We can provide either unedited or professionally edited photos and video. We can provide RAW photo format if you need it. Unless otherwise specified, we shoot photos in RAW (DNG) format and film in either MP4 or MOV format. The RAW (DNG) images are converted to JPG when edited. Just let us know what you need.
How and when will you deliver my photos or video?
For most projects, we will deliver digital photos or video to you via Dropbox or SmugMug within one or two business days following the completion of the shoot. If your project requires additional post-processing work (e.g., editing) delivery time can take a bit longer. We will send you an email that includes a link to where you can download your files to a local device.
What rights will you and I have in the photos or video?
Our standard agreement gives the client a royalty-free non-exclusive non-transferrable non-expiring license to use the photo or video product(s) we deliver. JQ2 Productions typically retains copyright and intellectual property rights.
Do you have a commercial drone license?
Yes, I hold a current FAA Part 107 commercial pilot certification. For more information, see About JQ2.
Are your drone flights insured?
Yes. We carry $1 Million in aviation insurance for our drone flights.
What if the weather does not cooperate?
The best weather for drone flying is when it is sunny, warm but not hot, and little to no wind. In the event of rain, snow, wind, storms, or any weather condition that would make it unsafe to fly in, we reserve the right to reschedule the shoot for safety reasons.
